On Saturday, February 18, 2024, PECHS Girls’ School hosted its first U-16 Interschool Throwball Tournament 2023-2024. We invited Generation’s School, Al-Murtaza School, Education Trust Nasra School and Aisha Bawany Academy to compete with us. To ensure a fair competition, we invited referees from the Pakistan Throwball Federation to oversee the matches.
The participants from our school were Mishaal Khan 10B, Maha Raza Khan 10B, Zarya Usmani 10B, Ayesha Ali 9B, Ifra Tanweer 9C, Raween Abid 10C, Hania Adnan 10B, Rehma Mujeeb 9C, Bareera Faheem 8A and Elma Rashid 10C. Each team played four matches and competed against one another. Out of four matches, Education Trust Nasra won two matches, Aisha Bawany Academy won two matches, Generation’s School won three matches and PECHS Girls’ School won four matches.
We are extremely proud of our students! The competition was quite tough, yet they did not disappoint. Our school won the trophy for first position while all the other participants received certificates.
