Robothon 2.0 – A Proud Moment for Our School

On April 12th, 2025, our school enthusiastically participated in the Robothon 2.0 Robotics Competition. This large-scale event brought together over 400 participants from more than 30 schools, colleges, and universities, making it an exciting and competitive platform for young robotics enthusiasts.

The competition featured 10 diverse categories, and our students eagerly competed in two categories with great determination.

In the Robotics ‘Track the Line’ category, also known as the Line Follower Robot, the robots needed to navigate along a defined track; going off-track resulted in elimination. Our pupils successfully coded their robots to adapt to different navigation scenarios across three different demanding rounds. With 40 teams competing, our girls Hiba Salman Year 4A and Simra Sharif Year 5B showcased outstanding skills and secured an impressive 3rd position which was a remarkable accomplishment. A big shout-out to our pupils for their exceptional performance!

In the second category, ‘Robo Kick-Off’, Inaya Owais Year 6A and Fatima Danish Year 7B, represented our school with great energy and determination. This exciting challenge was designed like a soccer match where robots played against each other, and the team that scored the most goals emerged victorious. Our team won their first match but were unfortunately eliminated in the next round. Despite facing opponents with larger and more powerful robots, our students showcased admirable resilience, teamwork, and true sportsmanship.

We are proud of all our participants for their hard work and dedication! We look forward to even more success in future competitions.
