The Annual Prize Distribution for the Academic Year 2025 was a momentous occasion, commemorating 70 years of excellence, achievement, and inspiration. Held in the school quadrangle, the ceremony united parents, students, and distinguished guests in an atmosphere of pride, gratitude, and celebration. It honoured not only individual accomplishments but also the collective pursuit of knowledge and growth that defines the spirit of our institution.
The programme commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a heart-warming rendition of the School Anthem, performed by students whose harmonious blend of vocals and instruments set a tone of unity and pride.
The Guests of Honour for the evening were, a distinguished alumna, Ms Bisma Naseem, an aeronautical engineer and retired Squadron Leader in the Pakistan Air Force and Mr Rehan Mirza, also a proud alumnus from the school’s early co-educational years and now a distinguished entrepreneur in Pakistan’s IT hardware sector. Their illustrious careers and remarkable achievements across diverse fields added inspiration and grandeur to the occasion, reflecting the school’s rich legacy of producing shining stars.
In her address, Ms Bushra Nasir, Headmistress of the Secondary Section, proudly highlighted the students’ outstanding success in the AKU-EB Examinations, achieving 22 Subject Distinctions (18 in SSC I and 4 in SSC II). She also announced that 16 Jenabai Scholarships were awarded to deserving students in recognition of their dedication and perseverance.
Ms Saima Shiraz, Headmistress of the Primary Section, shared the numerous inter-school events and competitions where students showcased exceptional talent and creativity. She emphasised the essential partnership between parents and educators in nurturing confident and compassionate young minds. Both Headmistresses expressed heartfelt gratitude to parents for their unwavering support and trust in the school’s role in guiding students’ academic and emotional development.
The ceremony also featured a vibrant showcase of student achievements across academics, debates, elocution, and co-curricular pursuits. Interspersed between award presentations were captivating performances, including the Secondary Choir’s moving rendition of Banjara Nama and a powerful dramatic presentation titled The Poetic Dialogue of Time, inspired by Dylan Thomas’s Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night. The performance left a lasting impression for its artistic depth and profound message.
As students received awards for excellence in English Poetry Elocution, Urdu Debate, and Academic Distinction, the stage glowed with pride and applause. Each award symbolised dedication, talent, and the indomitable spirit of our learners.
The keynote address, delivered by Mr Rehan Mirza and Ms Bisma Naseem, encouraged students to dream boldly, embrace challenges, and strive beyond boundaries. Their words served as a powerful reminder that confidence, courage, and ambition pave the way to limitless success.
The event concluded with a stirring joint performance by the School Choir and Band, followed by a united rendition of the National Anthem, bringing the celebration to a proud and patriotic close.
