This year, we competed in Haque Academy’s Under-17 Sports Festival 2023. Our school was represented by Bareera Faheem 8A, Ayesha Ali 9B, Ifra Tanweer 9C, Mishaal Khan 10B, Hania Adnan 10B, Maha Raza Khan 10B, Zarya Usmani 10B, Yumna Irfan 10C, Raween Abid 10C and Elma Rashid 10C.
The first round of the Throwball Tournament was held on Monday, November 20. Our Team went head-to-head with The AMI School, Bayview High and Head Start. It was an intense match and our Team won three out of five matches.
The second and final round was on Tuesday, November 21. We competed with Links School and Haque Academy. Our team defeated Haque Academy by scoring fifteen points! However, the teams we had defeated in the first round, made it to the second round as well. At the final count, Head Start won 1st position and AMI came in 2nd with our Team at 3rd position.
Our Sports Team Captain, Mishaal Khan 10B, won the award for Best Player! Our students did an excellent job. Throughout their practice sessions and tournament, they were determined and supportive towards one another. Their teamwork was exceptional. Good Job Team PECHS Girls’ School!
