PECHS Girls’ School celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony held promptly at 8:00 am, where students from across year groups – Years 1 to 10, gathered in The Quadrangle in their vibrant green and white attire.
The ceremony was a powerful display of national pride, as the Pakistani Flag was raised high, and the children sang the National Anthem, symbolizing the country’s enduring journey to freedom. Students participated wholeheartedly, singing several national songs with remarkable unity and passion. The event also featured a special translation of the national anthem, allowing every student to connect more deeply with the profound meaning of the lyrics.
The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices and hard work that led to the creation of Pakistan. It was a day to honor the nation’s history and its bright future, fostering a sense of community and patriotism among our young learners.
