Sports Day 2025: Honouring 70 Years of Ilm-o-Amal with Passion, Performance & Pride

This year’s Sports Day was a grand celebration marking the school’s 70th anniversary, showcasing sportsmanship and fitness with 100% participation from Years 1 to 10. The entire school came together to create a vibrant and memorable event.

We had the honour of welcoming Safinaz Suleman, Pakistan’s fastest female under-20 (2023, 2024) and Best Athlete of the Sindh Games 2024. A record holder in the 100m, 200m, and 400m races, as well as a national gold, silver, and bronze medallist, she graced the event as the Guest of Honour, inspiring students with her presence.

The day began with a heartfelt recitation of the Quran, followed by an uplifting performance of the school anthem by the choir. Students from Years 1 – 3 impressed the audience with a calming yoga meditation display.

The Josh-o-Kharosh cheerleading performances by Years 4 and 5 from the Primary Section, and Years 6 and 7 from the Middle Section, energised the crowd, with the beat of traditional desi dhol adding a lively touch.

The races kept everyone engaged as participants displayed remarkable determination and competitive spirit. A special highlight was the impressive formation of the school logo, Ilm-o-Amal, by Secondary students.

The Medal Distribution Ceremony was a proud moment, with awards presented to both the Primary and Secondary Sections. Vice Principal Ms. Vira Sidhwa announced the much-anticipated results, with Air House securing First Position, followed by Water House in Second. Congratulations to all participants!

The event concluded with a thrilling Taekwondo display, followed by the school choir leading everyone in the National Anthem – a perfect finale to a day that celebrated teamwork, resilience and school spirit.
