On September 18 and 19 2024, our spirited athletes from Years 6 and 7 made their debut at the 8th Students Olympics Games, held at the grounds of the Pakistan Sports Board. Competing in the Throwballcategory, our team of 10 players faced a thrilling challenge against 20 schools divided into four pools.
Placed in Pool A, our team secured two victories and advanced to the semi-finals. Although we faced tough competition in the semi-finals and narrowly missed out on the third-place match with a score of 15-9, our players demonstrated incredible sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
This marks the first-ever participation by our students in the Students Olympics. We look forward to celebrating their achievements at the closing ceremony on September 28, where they will receive their well-earned participation certificates.
