As part of a cherished tradition, Year 9 organised a farewell party on February 21, 2025, honouring the outgoing Year 10 batch. This year’s event carried a deeply symbolic and eco-friendly message, emphasizing growth, nourishment, and sustainability.
As a unique and thoughtful souvenir, each Year 10 student received a plant potted with moringa seeds, tied with a ribbon displaying their title. Just as a planted seed takes root and flourishes, the students, too, will continue to grow, learn, and contribute to a better future. The farewell was a reminder that their journey ahead, like a nurtured plant, requires care, patience, and resilience.
The event embraced sustainability in every aspect – all materials used were fully recycled, and food was served in bento boxes to prevent wastage, allowing students to enjoy their meal whenever they wanted.
The evening was filled with joy and excitement as students participated in a well-planned programme that combined heartfelt moments with fun-filled activities. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and cheerful exchanges as Year 9 students presented creative performances, speeches, and interactive segments. The highlight was the moment when Year 10 students strummed on guitars and did some jamming, making it a delightful experience. They loved singing together and enjoyed every minute of it!
The thoughtful planning ensured that the farewell was not only meaningful but also a celebration of the bonds shared among the students. The smooth execution of the event beautifully highlighted the themes of eco-consciousness, recycling, and mindful celebration, making it a memorable farewell.
