Year 7 Field Trip to the National Museum

On December 14, 2023, Year 7 went to visit the National Museum of Pakistan. They learned history through original artifacts and sculptures, which were very well preserved. They noticed the attention to detail on each display and were in awe of the place.
Our students were excited to see the original letters written to and by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They were also shocked to see several personal items that belonged to the founder of Pakistan, such as, his wallet, umbrella and passport. Several different compilations of the Holy Quran were displayed beautifully. The sculptures of Mughals, Hindus and Buddhists looked exceptional. In addition, there were several collections of coins that were quite eye-catching. Moreover, different findings of the provinces of Pakistan were also showcased. Towards the end, students were excited about seeing a piece of rock from the Moon. The trip was truly beneficial for Year 7 who remained positively energetic and intrigued throughout the trip.
