On April 27, 2024, we participated in the All Karachi Inter-school 5th Taekwondo Championship, held at NCC. We participated in all the categories. A total of 66 students participated: 27 from our Primary section and 39 from our Secondary section. Each participant was paired with an opponent of the same body weight. Our students demonstrated a wide range of defensive and offensive techniques such as gliding, kicks and throwing punches.
We secured First Position for overall performance. From the Primary section, 5 pupils received first position and 15 pupils received second position. From the Secondary section, 9 students were awarded first position and 18 students were awarded second position. Overall, we received 47 positions. PECHS Girls’ School also secured a trophy and honorary shield. Excellent job, girls!
