Jinnah Inter- School Declamation

Syeda Fatima Zehra 10C Shines!!!!!

In a remarkable showcase of eloquence and critical thinking, we made our mark at the Jinnah Inter-School Declamation Competition, hosted by the Institute of Nation Building at Quaid-e-Azam House Museum. Competing against 17 schools in each of the two elimination rounds, Syeda Fatima Zehra Year 10C, outdid herself with powerful speeches that resonated deeply with both the audience and the judges.

The elimination rounds, held on September 26 and 27, were highly competitive. Our school’s turn came on September 27, where Fatima confidently delivered a thought-provoking argument in favour of Kashmir’s right to self-determination, asserting that Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris, not to India or Pakistan. Her well-researched stance, supported by historical context and emotional depth, earned widespread admiration and secured her a coveted spot in the finals.

In the final round, on September 28, Fatima tackled a challenging and reflective topic: “Jinnah’s Pakistan” Her heartfelt critique, highlighting Jinnah’s shattered dreams left a profound impact on the audience. Her courage to voice such bold views with such poise and confidence, in front of a diverse panel of judges was met with applause and admiration.

She won first place in the competition, and was awarded with a shield, a book, and a cash prize in recognition of her outstanding achievement.

We are incredibly proud of Syeda Fatima Zehra for winning the competition and representing our school with such dignity and grace.
