PACE Junior CEO Challenge | November 2022

We  participated in the Pace Junior CEO Challenge 2022, an interschool competition that gives students an opportunity to enhance their creativity, critical thinking & problem solving skills, presentation skills, entrepreneurship and leadership qualities.

Students were required to generate business ideas focussing on the following themes: Food, travel and tourism, Education and Health, Science and Technology, Climate, Energy & Agriculture. Students of Years 8, 9 and 10 participated and despite the short deadline, PECHS Girls’ School won a shield for sending the maximum number of entries! Well done Studnets! We are proud of all of you.

From a total of 1500 entries, 40 students were shortlisted from participating schools, and they were required to make their business pitch in front of a jury.

We felt a surge of pride in our students who were selected from the 40:

  1. Anusha Raza 8A
  2. Syeda Fatima Zehra 8B
  3. Izma 8B
  4. Harmain 10A, Manahil Rao and Rahemeen Farooq 10B (Group Business Plan)
  5. Adina Fatima 10C

From the 40 students, 16 were selected for the Grand Finale and three business pitches were from the PECHS Girls’ School. Congratulations to them!

Pace College organised a special mentoring session on Nov. 05, for all the top 16 finalists. The Grand Finale was held on November 12, 2022 at the Arts council and participants  along with their teachers and parents were invited.

Adina Fatima 10C won the second runner’s-up prize. She was presented with a shield, a tablet and a cash prize. E-certificates and Junior CEO badges were given to all the participants.
