Student Council Elections 2026 – 2027
The Student Council Elections brought excitement, enthusiasm and a strong spirit of participation across the school. The Student Council plays an important role in developing leadership, responsibility and student voice. It serves as a link between students and the school leadership, giving students an opportunity to represent the ideas, concerns and interests of their peers.
The election journey began with a session for aspiring students, where they learned about the roles, responsibilities and expectations of Student Council members. Students interested in contesting the elections then submitted their nomination forms and took the first step towards becoming student leaders.
The next stage included interviews and the shortlisting of candidates. The shortlisted candidates then stepped forward to campaign during morning assemblies and classroom visits. They shared their ideas, presented their plans and encouraged fellow students to support them.
Students from Years 6 to 10 participated in the polling process and cast their votes for their preferred candidates. The elections gave students a practical experience of democratic values while helping them develop skills such as decision-making, public speaking, organisation, teamwork and responsible campaigning.
The announcement of the results marked an exciting moment for the candidates and the school community. The newly elected Student Council members received their gowns and formally took the oath of office, pledging to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, commitment and dedication.
