Year 10 attended their Career Quest session on 22 January 2025. The event featured guest speakers who are professionals in various fields, including Uzma Riaz, Veera Rustomjee, Seher Naveed, Seher Gul, Khaula Jameel, and Nida Khan. The session aimed to introduce students to a range of career options such as teaching, archiving, the arts, civil engineering, photojournalism, and banking.
The speakers shared their personal experiences, highlighting potential challenges and addressing the stigma associated with certain professions, and how they dealt with it. They offered valuable advice and encouraged students to do internships and figure out what they really enjoy doing and thereby pursue careers they can be passionate about. The session was very informative, with students actively participating by asking insightful questions.
By the end of the session, Year 10 students felt motivated and inspired. Many stayed back to engage further with the guest speakers and seek additional guidance.
