The school has a well-equipped Sickbay with a qualified School Nurse (SN). Children feeling unwell or who get injured during school hours are referred to the SN for immediate care.
Fever or Illness: Children showing signs of fever or illness should remain at home.
Medication During School Hours: The School Nurse administers medication only upon written parental instructions. Medication must be sent with the child, as the school does not provide medicine.
Leave Due to Illness: If a child is absent due to illness, parents are expected to submit a leave application to the Year Group Teacher. For absences exceeding three days, a medical certificate is required.
Health Concerns: Information regarding health conditions are shared via diary note or email at info@pechsgs.edu.pk by the parents.
Emergency Situations: In the event of a medical emergency or if a child is found to have a contagious illness (such as measles, typhoid, chickenpox, or conjunctivitis), then she is sent home.
Security Card Requirement: For safety reasons, the school requires the parent or authorised guardian to presents the official Security Card at the school gate, when they come to collect the sick child.
These procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of all children.
