Parking & Drop-off Rules for Students

As you know, there are various commuters using the main road on which our school is situated and on the side roads too. When our school was built in 1955, it was a quiet residential area, with the PECHS Girls’ School and College built on an amenity plot. Over the years, many other public educational institutions have come into existence. The Al- Yaqeen School is down the road from us and several other higher educational institutes on all the side roads. These roads are not private for our use only.

A vast majority of our students use the Van Service but there are some who are dropped off in their private vehicles. To accommodate the different needs and ensure safety and smooth traffic flow, separate routes have been assigned.

Please Ensure that You:

1. Drive Safely and SLOWLY in the School Zone.

2. Follow all designated parking instructions. Double parking is strictly prohibited as it will cause inconvenience and traffic congestion.

3. Avoid stopping or parking in front of residential gates.

4. Be mindful of other parents lining up behind you. Ensure that your children’s bags, water bottles and snack boxes are packed and ready before you leave home. Before you approach the drop-off point, remind your child/children to start collecting their belongings.

5. Exercise caution and patience when arriving at or leaving school. The entrance is a high-traffic area and requires full attention. Allow ample time for drop-off and pick-up to ensure a smooth and safe process.

Drop off and Parking Rules

To ensure that there is a smooth flow of traffic and an efficient parking system, we have put together a set of Parking Rules for you.

Look at the Diagrams below and ensure that you stop your car to drop off your children in the morning where indicated in the diagram.

Gate 2 will be closed at 7.51 am sharp. If you are late you must report at Gate 1 and follow the Late Arrival Policy. You can access this document on our website in the Parents’ Hub.
