On January 16, 2025, Soha Sarfaraz Year 5B represented our school in the Inter-School English Declamation Contest hosted by The Set School. This contest aimed to enhance students’ persuasive and public speaking abilities while fostering awareness of socioeconomic, cultural, and political issues.
Participants were offered 15 thought-provoking topics to choose from, and Soha selected “Bullying and its Effects.” Each student was given two minutes to present their point of view, making content precision and time management crucial. The competition consisted of a single round, judged by a panel of three, who evaluated participants on content, eloquence, and adherence to the time limit.
Soha delivered a compelling speech, shedding light on the harmful consequences of bullying and its impact on society. She articulated her points with clarity, addressing the audience effectively.
We were delighted to receive a thoughtful Thank You Letter from The Set School, acknowledging our student’s participation and contribution to this event.
