Online Classes & Self-Study

To stay in touch with virtual learning using Google Classroom or GC as we refer to it, we have built in four ‘stay home & study’ days in one academic year, two in each term. This initiative serves another goal which is self-study. It is one of the ways in which we can develop a sense of responsibility, independence and confidence in our children.

The online/self-study days contribute to our objectives in the following ways:

– Keep us proficient in the use of Google Classroom /Google Meet

– Give students the opportunity to learn the skills of self-management, organisation and time-management

– Help them become self-reliant, independent and confident in their own abilities

These online/self-study days are fully organised, tried and tested and work well. You can find details about what to expect and what you and your children need to do, in the Guidelines for Parents under the Parents’ Hub tab.
